Looking for the correct TVI DVR.

I work in a small office building and I am going to be setting up a surveillance system here.

Currently we are looking at an 8 camera setup~ 4 indoor, 4 outdoor. I think I'm decided on the cameras already but do not know which TVI DVR to get. We want 1080p recording but also 1080p realtime viewing on the monitor. Curious to know if that feature is standard for most HDTVI DVR's, or it's something you generally pay more for. In addition, how much of a difference is there with 1080p recording in 12fps compared to the 25 or 30 I've seen. Is the 12fps look poor despite the high res?

This Hikvision DVR records in 1080p but I believe it is 720p realtime viewing. Does it make that much of a difference? What is everyones thoughts on this DVR?

Looking for 200-300$ options, with good storage, 1080p, easy interface/setup. I'm tech savy but have not configured camera systems from scratch like this, only installing IP cameras in retail stores.

The DS-7208HGHI-SH is a good option. And of course it is 1080p real time viewing (if you are seeing just one camera full screen, that is). It is only 12fps recording, if you wanted 25fps you would need DS-7208HQHI-SH, way more expensive (and with more options, besides 2x more fps).

HD-TVI is promoted by HikVision. Rather limited by the number of suppliers. Therefore, rather expensive than HD-AHD system. More suppliers and manufactuerers, thus less expensive for HD-AHD cameras and DVRs.
