Help with chinesse nvr updated with wrong firmware

Hi,i recently purchased a nvr, no brand just the info on the box that said h.264 8ch model NVR-1008p and the firmware it had was V4.02.r11.06122119.12001.130000 build date 20015/09/10

When i did the upgrade it changed to V4.02.r11.00031119.30001.120000.00000 build date 2016/09/01

Now the nvr wont recognize any camera or hdd,and the menu has no options for camera config etc half of the options are missing ,i know nothing of the board other that uses hi3520 chip,the nvr comes on 100s difrent brands ,its mainly sold on ebay but nobody will help with the correct firmware,can somebody helpme recover this nvr?

Can you provide internal photos? Depending on its guts I may be able to provide a working firmware for it. Ever telnet/serial into it?
