MVPower H.264 - Eseenet+ keeps disconnecting

Hi

 

I have an MVPower H.264 DVR, connected to my router by ethernet cable.

 

I have succesfully established remote access via Eseenet+ app on iPhone and iPad, using Esee number setup as per DVR instructions. I can view via iPhone and iPad both inside the house and remotely from other locations (including abroad).

 

I have a persistent issue whereby, regardless of whether I am accessing via my home network or remotely, the Eseenet access fails and I cannot view the video. Error message is 'Connect to Server fail' (somteimes I get a 'Stopped' message but by closing and reopening the access to the cameras this resolves itself). The only way I can solve this is by rebooting the DVR, which re-establishes the Eseenet+ connection.

 

The ethernet cable is connected to both router and DVR.

 

I am unable to connect remotely via browser using IP/port settings as the web page requires Adobe Flash installed, which is not available on Safari web browser on iPhone and iPad. I get a times out message when I try to connect via IP on my laptop.

 

Is anyone else facing this issue? How can this be resolved?
