bourne2wear 0 Posted December 10, 2016 Hello, I have a new HIKKVISION DS-7204HQHI-F1/N/A, I have installed the hard drive that came with the DVR, connected everything up but when I turn on the power the following occurs. The DVR screen appears on my monitor for a few seconds then goes off & my screen goes black, then several seconds later the DVR does 3 short beeps followed by 2 fast beeps, it then repeats this about every 30 seconds, any ideas? almelst 1 Posted December 20, 2016 Disconnect the HDD and see what happens. Also check power supply voltage. Sound you hear is a regular error sound, it's normal before the disk is formatted. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
