GeoVision NVR + AXIS M3007-PV

Recommended Posts

Using GeoVision NVR and trying to implement an AXIS M3007-PV.

I'm familiar with a handful of other AXIS cameras, but this one is giving me a little trouble. I think I'm just being stupid and missing something very small.

The default view for M3007 is basically a "fisheye" view. I want GeoVision to be viewing the Panorama or any other kind of view. How do I change that? In the http interface, it gives you a dropdown menu on the main screen, but I assume that's just for http live view purposes. There has to be something in the setup menu that I'm missing to make the camera default to a certain stream profile/view.

Also while adding M3007 into GeoVision, there's no selection for M3007 in the drop down menu. I was thinking maybe it was under Protocol > ONVIF, but after some quick research M3007 doesn't even support ONVIF. Where is it?!

GeoVision changelogs link, version 8.5.7.0. Wasn't aware there was 8.5.8.0, but that doesn't matter.

Thank you for your time.

Alright, so after reading my previous post, my question sounds kind of confusing.

After some searching, I found this FAQ post on the AXIS website that helps a little.

I'm able to set my default view in my web browser to panorama. My only problem is that when I add the AXIS M3007 to my GeoVision NVR, it still shows the fish eye view.

Anybody know how to fix this?
