What cameras to buy?

Recommended Posts

Hello

I want to start a cctv sale and installation company in Norway.

I have read a lot on the internet about the subject lately, but as Im sure you know: Its easy to get lost in the huge jungle of different cameras out there.

So thats why I joined this forum.

To maby get a little help from you professionals.

What cameras do you recommend to buy?

Hikvision and Dahua seems like the biggest brands with the best quality.

But they also cost alot and the profit margin might not be that big?

Thats why I have searched a lot for chineese manufactuers.

What do you think about Longse?

Have anyone of you tried them lately?

Do you know of any other cheap suppliers that sell good quality cameras?

Its important for me that the customers get good quality...

Best regards from Norway!

Google the term Longse junk and see what you get. Stick with reputable brands.

Do you want your company name to be associated with unreliablity?

I read somewhere Dahua offers 5 year warranty to their dealers.

Hi trying to make a profit from main stream sellers like hik and dahua is going to be hard.

Customers can find prices online.

Other advice is don't by direct from China you will not get the warranty or support

Profit...... is on installation..... no customer likes to see cables in or outside of there home...... and will pay for better install

Yhea thats why I was looking at chineese suppliers...

Maybe you can recommend a good seller?

Profit on installation makes sense.

You dont think an online shop with a main streem brand will make any money ?

I was hoping for both online shop and installation....

Btw:

Do you think the cctv market is on its way up or down?

The crime rates in Norway is going up, so I think it might be a good time to start?

Thank you my friend
