Mounting a bullet style camera to soffit

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

New to the forums, I just wanted to ask if it's possible to mount a camera mount to soffit? Will it hold on it's own without being screwed on to a stud? This possible installation is going to be install on top of my garage overhang.

Thanks!

It will hold.

You may have to buy different screws, Sometimes the ones that come with the cameras are cheap quality.

If you have small holes in your soffits look into quality self tapping screws.

If your bullet camera has IR lighting, the spiders building webs will drive you crazy. A turret or eyeball camera will be much better.
