Hik-Connect playback issues

Hi,

 

I have a Hikvision system setup in my home comprising of:

 

1 × DS-7104NI-E1/4P NVR

2 × DS-2CD1341-I turret cameras

 

I have a problem with Hik-Connect playing back video from the NVR on my mobile devices. If i select a date and time to playback, it doesn't work correctly and skips to a time further down the timeline - see attached screencap video:

This issue led me to enabling port forwarding (8000 & 554) on my router and adding the cameras manually to my phone (using IP) as a work-around. Unfortunately, although both live footage and playback footage work perfectly, this creates issues when trying to record clips on the phone - the videos just don't work. However, if i re-enable Hik-Connect and use the (broken) playback function and record a clip on my phone, it works perfectly fine.

 

If anybody can point me in the right direction to do either of the below, your help would be much appreciated.

 

  • Get Hik-Connect working correctly
    Get the IP version working correctly
