16 channel Lynstan LDVR-1685F problems.

Hi there.

 

I have some problems with my newly bought lynstan LDVR-1685F.

I already send email to cs and ts of lynstan.com a month ago but

till today, have not received any respond. I think they do not read their emails or worse, its fake email account.

 

The product i'm regarding to is :

My problems are:

 

1. I have set the sensitifity to 0 (as far as i am concern, reading the manual, it only state that 1 to 10, 1 is the most sensitif, but my dvr's have 0 to 10 options)

So 0 is the most sensitif, right CMIIW. However, i notice that there are some movement that did not record at all. some only record half of the movement.

 

ie. live view, cam1, there was some person walking down seen from left monitor to the right monitor.

left is the closest to the camera, while right is farther from the camera.

 

With sensitifity setting in 0, I notice the dvr SOMETIMES record, sometimes DIDNOT record.

 

I dont know how to explain this but from what i am seeing,

If the movement shows walking slow, and walking down from left to right in single line (maybe), dvr is not detecting the movement hence dvr is not recording.

 

if the movement /the walk faster o jugged or zigzag, the the dvr record.

 

I do have proof of this. I have captured (not with dvr, but with my direct video live to my laptop) this event.

the captured video does not show red icon when some people walking from left to right.

in the same captured video, I also record the menu's motion setting, so we can see that it is set to 0.

 

Don't know how to send this video file since its in 2gigs avi file. I'll try to compress it down to 3gp or mp4 and see if it can still show the little red recording icon on the bottom.

 

2. Let's say I have 7 cams, all of the 7 cams I set into motion detection.

There is movement on cam 1, hence cam 1 is recording. But other 6 camera (which do not have any movement) is not recorded at the same time as detection detected on cam 1.

I have used avtech 761 before (for 5 years), so i know when playback my recording on avtech, althought cam 1 is the only one that has movement, i can also see (playback) all of the other cams.

 

even with avtech KPD 679, I can choose wether I want to record JUST ONE cam that has movement OR record all of the cams even if only one cam has movement.

 

or even with a AVT 9616, the cheapest dvr, can do the same as avtech kpd679. I choose Lynstan since 21cctv recomended it.

 

With Avtech KPD679 I have sound hissing problem althoght no sound input at all, with AVT 9616 I have recording quality problem (it only records in CIF and I cannot see person's face clearly with very much block artifacts.I need D1 recording)

 

 

What I need is, to record ALL of the cams when only one of them captures movement.

 

In Lynstan, how can I do that? I already see the manual, see the setting but didnot find it.

 

Let's say in one room i put 2 cams, and cam1 shoot his back while cam 2 shoot from opposite side.

Both are set in motion detection.

 

cam 1 detect his finger in his side with a gun, and record.

cam 2 shoot front doesnot detect any gun's movement since it is slightly under a table from cam2's eye.

 

when I playback, I only can see cam 1 which show his back with a gun movement, but cannot see his face from cam2 since its not recorded.

 

What's the use of dvr then? I cannot see his face, all i can play back is his back with a gun in his side.

 

How can I make my Lynstan 1685F records all of the other cams while it only detect one movement in one cam?

 

I already ask technical support of 21cctv (I bought this from 21cctv store/www.21cctv.com), but he said that the older lynstan can record all cams while only one cam has movement.

BUT this NEWer Lynstan CANNOT do that. Is that mean the newer dvr is worst than the oldest?

 

3. How do I make my Lynstan DVR output sound after reboot? Every time power down (well I use UPS but sometimes power down exceed time ups can support, so the dvr off due to no power), the sound is MUTEd. I want the sound NOT tobe muted after reboot, just like Avtech 761 does.

4. I use iCMS-IVS_ICT_x11z20101014, from my pc or laptop which I got from its own included cdrom.

My internal home/work network is provided by a DLINK router with ADSL internet connection.

 

With my android tablet or android Samsung Galaxy phone, I already set and I can monitor my cctv with no problem.

So settings on the router is right and doesnot have any problems with ip and its port forwarding.

 

But I CANNOT access from my pc or laptop.

 

 

 

 

 

picture 1,2,3 shows there are 16 cam connections.

the red color is blinking.

but cannot see any cams. at the time I captured this pictures, I already install 7 cams, and can see all 7 of them from my android.

this is the ip setting I used.

 

already tried GENERIC MAINSTREAM DVR, DUAL SDVR, IPCAM in model but still no joy.

 

the IP and port is the same as in my android tablet.

the user name and password is the same.

 

I have my Avtech 761 in 192.168.1.2 port 9000 in the same router.

with my laptop and avtech videoviewer program I can access and see my 4 other cams (covering different area), no problem at all.

Also when I still have avtech KPD679, and AVT9616, I can access them with no problem at all from my pc or laptop.

 

I already tried install them in my desktop pc which doesnot have videoviewer of avtech (just to see if its ip conflict or program conflict).

but still no joy.

 

So i wonder, if iCMS-IVS_ICT_x11z20101014 is not the correct program. tried iCMS_ICT_20100930 same thing, still no joy.

 

Also I found that ifileplayback is INFECTED with virus!

 

PLEASE NOTICE THAT the file is from my own dvr in 192.168.1.8:9108 "Download Record File Player" not from the internet!

 

 

 

I wonder if maybe any of you have encounter problems like this.

 

I already contact 21cctv, the store where i bought this dvr, but they only said, return it, they will give my money back.

 

Since this dvr already settled and all the wires connected, I cannot just as easy as they say, return it!

If I return it, I'll have no record at all of the cctv i used in my business store at least 1 full day. The store is located in another city, 250km from my place and the traffic and water floods are pain in the ass.

 

I live in a small city 250km from Jakarta, Indonesia.

For them, its simple as that. But for me, its NOT that simple!

 

So returning is the LAST option I will do IF the DVR turns out to be a BAD product! (if it is really proven to be BAD product of Lynstan Taiwan)

 

My opinion is, i think this is firmware problems.

 

Does anyone knows where can I get firmware update for this model? I have search and found that Lynstan is a clone of Rayvision.

Or maybe there are solutions for my problems?

return IS your best option. if you are getting no support from new in 6 months you will have more problems

The reason why you cant see video from your laptop is because avast antivirus is blocking it.

Try disabling it and you will see video. If you dont want to disable it you will probably have to set it in trusted applications and other stuff in the avast program.

And if you are have so many problems with motion you should just leave it on 24 hour recording.

I dont see how you are expecting motion recording to work perfectly. If you are so worried about space you can always do a low quality 24 hour recording and when motion is activated it bumps it up to a higher quality recording.

it's still no support until today.

I think they're as confuse as my self.

Turns out lynstan is a BAD product.

 

I'll return it asap. My last option has become my ONLY option.

Turning off avast permanently, still no joy.

remove avast, reboot, still no joy.

install fresh win xp sp3, no avast installed, no other anti virus, no other programs, only plain win xp system and icms program, still no joy.

 

Thanks for suggestion, at least I have tried...

Might be missing some codecs.

Also are you are watching it over TeamViewer?

 

No, I do not watch it over team viewer.

Don't know what codec should I install.

as far as I am concern, when we install a video viewer for cctv,the codec if not yet available, should be installed automatically.

FYI, Videoviewer for Avtech dvr's is working with no problem. Also videoserver e for an older avtech do not have any problem in viewing the cctv.

 

Only icms from this lynstan cannot show either live or recording.

Make sure you have Direct X 9.0c

Also make sure you have up to date video card drivers. It should work after that.

 

I just make sure that I have direct x 9.0c in my system.

The direct x 9.0c installer tells me that my directx is already up to date.

I also update my video card drivers,it is still no joy.

 

I just found out that my lynstan firmware is 1.0.0 build 20

 

I found :

Fix: ifile player cannot show the GUI on Windows 7.

I think mine is the same version as v100b20.

And the fix in v100b22 are "ifile player cannot execute on Windows XP." and "Mod: Enhance the motion sensitivity."

 

Which i think means that v100b20 cannot execute ifileplayer in win xp, and the motion has less sensitifity. It has the very same problem as I encounter.

 

I am still looking for more information about this v100b20 firmware.

Is Avtech H.264?

If the DVR is H.264 you need to install codecs for that.

No, it is not avtech h264.

However, i have tried remote viewing avtech h264 kpd679 and I can see the live video, I can do playback.

in the same windows system, I use lynstan LDVR1685F, i installed icms, and it cannot do live view or playback.

What model video card and what is the date of driver installation.

 

I'm not sure what video card model are you asking.

Mine is a dvr stand alone. not a dvr card if that's what you mean.

They dont need driver installed.

 

If you are referring to icms program i installed in my pc,

well i have 6 tower pc with 6 different vga card and 2 laptop that i tried the icms on. all of them give same result as i described before.

 

Let's say in one of my "24/7 online" laptop acer aspire 5570, i have

Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset video card with driver version 6.14.10.4543 dated

23 march 2006. The driver is from windows xp sp3 i believe.
