HD-SDI DVR ? and Recommendation

Recommended Posts

I have decided to upgrade to a HD-SDI system. I would like to get some clarification on a system with a web server built in. Does this mean the DVR would connect to a Internet signal wirelessly? Currently running a 100ft Ethernet cable and having to have a third party domain to supply a static IP address. I would like to eliminate the IP address issue along with the Ethernet cable.

How can I solve this issue and any recommendations on brand to get?

Thanks

Web server means you can open an internet browser and view your cameras instead of needing software to do it. You do not need to pay a 3rd party for a static IP. If configured correctly, your DVR will update your IP to a ddns server for you. Dahua

is a good brand for hd-sdi for the money.
