Dedicated DVR (non pc) for a 9 camera system.

Recommended Posts

Hi There,

I am migrating from a geovision pc based solution and want a stand along dvr for a home 9 camera system. Needs to do PTZ cameras, access via the web, and iOS devices.

Wanted to keep it around $500-600 if possible.

Any help would be great!

Thanks

DTT

The main brands that I know of with 9 channel DVRs are everfocus and Swann.

I'm not so sure about Swanns reliability. Seems like a lot of issues but Everfocus is a good brand.

Most DVRs come in 4, 8, 16 or 32 channel but there are others that are available in 9 and 10 channel.

Kalatel used to make a 10 channel but I'm not sure of who may now.

Thanks for the response.

I wasn't looking for a specific 9 channel one. Normally I would get a 16 channel system to allow for additional cameras later.

I was looking at the 16 channel from security camera king:

Has alot of positive reviews but I am always leary of reviews on spcific sites. I like independant reviews
