Lydia 0 Posted February 9, 2015 Hi All, I have been having this issue with the AVTech 706 where by I have notifications with via FTP enabled. When I look at the FTP hosted directory, I can see files get created with a timestamp but they are 0bytes long. I have tried setting the file type as AVI and Link, but regardless the file is always 0bytes long. Am I doing something stupid? Lydia 0 Posted March 13, 2015 Hi All, My friend sorted out the issue. It was around an issue with the Linux VSFTP setting. I had a masquerade set to the name of the server. As I do not run DNS, the lookup failed in passive mode. Sudesh set this to the IP address of the FTP server and this worked fine. My silly mistake.
