Super mini NVR - Wont display any streams??

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Ive just got myself a couple of cheap super mini NVRS (N6200-8E) for use around the house just for local viewing.

I have a mix of hickvision and Foscam cameras. all @ 720p 15fps. the NVR detects the cameras as ONVIF and i can get them connected but no stream is shown?

Ive tried pretty much everything but cant for the life of me get any picture in the 4x4 grid. the cameras say connected but nothings shown.

I have the latest firmware installed but still no luck. Has anyone else had the same issue.? Do you think the NVR can handle 4 streams at 720p?

Any ideas please as to what im doing wrong?

Many thanks

Hi. What you are doing wrong is buying cheap $20 crap.

I would not take any notice of your NVR being ONVIF or not even the latest.

Cameras could also be a problem ..... If you have bought China copy of Foscam or hik......again ONVIF comparability problems.

Try using the rstp feeds from your cameras. Also the N6200-8E needs to be told which resolution output you want to use

Yeah you are probably right but i only want them for local viewing.I have a dedicated hickvision NVR for recording .etc so thought these would be ideal but they are turning out to be a pita.

I thought it was the output resolution on the N6200 but ive tried them all with no luck.

I have various cams from hacked chinese firmware to originals.

I may end up chucking them away if they are junk Just wondered if anyone else has had the same issue.
