Help with Zmodo DVR

Hi all,

I've recently acquired a business and the previous owner had a Zmodo DVR system installed. I've been trying to get it connected to my network here and try for a remote setup but to no avail. I've read that the Zmodo systems aren't the best and if anyone can point me in the right direction to one that would be easier to fiddle with that would be great. THANKS!

Very easy to achieve, just get in someone that know what to do.

Like so many others you think CCTV is a plug and play technology and expect to be able to make it work on the internet with no prior knowledge, don't kid yourself. I don't know who told you Zmodo were not reliable or reasonable quality, so far as I am concerned they are just another budget system no better or worse than the way they are set up, but of course its easier to blame an inanimate piece of electronics than to admit you don't have a clue how to do the job.

Any technician worth their salt will do this for you within an hour of arriving on site, that is providing your broadband is up to the job.
