Most of these are for AC or Alternating Current (house electricity), but some also have a DC setting (The 12 volts for cameras is DC or Direct Current- same a cars.) So you would select 12 volts DC, the size of the wire gauge, and the distance. Note the higher the number of wire gauge, the smaller the wire. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
