just purchased a network tester for cat 5/6

unit does length with or without remote distance to short or open

wire map with indication if failure is on far end or close end or somewhere in between. remote end beeps when it is connected. runs on 3 aaa batteries. The unit is labeled DBPOWER SC8108.

The reason I posted here is the price around 50.00 I have paid more than that for a simple wire mapper. I don't know how long this will hold up but it should make finding cable trouble a lot faster than just using a regular wire mapper.

We have had several cat 5/6 testers and paid much more for a unit that could preform all these functions.
