Cctv cam won't work once on the wall.

Recommended Posts

Hi

I got some new cameras from Amazon.

ANNKE 4 Channel HD 1080P SPOE Security Camera

One of the cameras won't work once it's on the wall. I've took it down a few times now to check it. Once it's down it works fine. I've checked the cat5 cable with a line checker and that's fine. I've just put it back up and once again it's stop working. Just get a blank pitcure? Can anyone help

Try swapping the camera that's giving you trouble with one that works fine.

If the trouble follows the questionable camera, then the camera is defective.

Hi. If your camera works on another cable then the cable that is used once on wall is bad ..... how did you test it ?

Also what is the distance of that cable ..... did you make it or pre made

First ,other cameras could work once they are on the wall?

Second, how you check it, if make a video?

These are important for the others to help you.Or it is difficult to say what's wrong with the camera.
