Rj45 have always been a problem for the DIYer and Infact time consuming for a pro.

 

Simple ideas are always the best ...... Cut cat cable after the crimping no more misplaced wire and get right first time easy fit rj45

yes we went to a two piece plug and it cuts down on the miswires. you should still wire map all homemade connections. Even for the homeowner I think a cheap wiremapper is a must have. I have seen them for as low as 10.00.

Hi. Jeromephone. These new ones are not two piece. These are standard rj45 but with the 8 holes at the top.

 

 

Your right any network tester is a time saver.

 

 

How are you finding business at the moment ..... The industry has picked up a lot more than usual
