 Post subject: Cable crimping foil covered RG59

Bought some new cable so that I am ready for when I upgrade my system to HD SDI

Do I need to remove the foil before I crimp the BNC connector

I now assume you are supposed to cut back the foil beyond the connection.....

"No signal" when i left it on! cut it back perfect!

Yes, I normally will removed the foil too, just in case it shorted the center copper pin.
