Hi,

Qvis does have a full D1 unit as a 4 channel, however we do not carry it because for a couple hundred bucks more you can get the 16 channel unit. However, we can get it for you if you need it.

One question though is, do you really need full D1 for a 4 channel DVR? Most of the time 7 FPS will be just fine. Unless you have the specific need for full D1, you can go with the regular Apollo HD and save hundreds of dollars and still get the same video quality, just at a lesser frame rate.

As far as comparing to monoprices, I have never used their DVR's so I cant attest to how they are, but just because two DVR's have the same exact specs does not mean they have the same quality. Things you have to look for are features, quality of the GUI, and video recording compression.

As far as the Aver's go, we carry them as well but just arent listed on our website. They are great little boogers if you plan on upgrading to IP someday. But if you are just sticking to analog, I would choose the Qvis.

Thanks for the response, I would like quality recording and basing it off some older cameras i had see i want more then 7fps. 15fps I dont mind at each channel. What is the price of the unit that will do the higher fps for a 4 channel and what Blackberry support is offered if any?

The Aver is a hybrid, the Qvis is an analog only. 2 different animals.

Understood but I was planning on only using Analog cameras anyway. I'm more interested in the specs and features.

I can't post a screen shot online b/c all the websites which host them are blocked but mark just sent me multiple screen shots which are from the remote software and there are boxes which are grayed out. Maybe these links might work

Ok i contacted Mark and he actually was nice enough to let me view his desktop live over the net and show me what he basically told me from the start that Not all of the features are availalbe to change unless you are connected locally to the DVR via keyboard/mouse/monitor.

Can you please confirm as you see there are grayed out options in this screen and others but this is the only screen shot i had him take to clear up any confusion on my end.

I dont know that software but from the looks of it when you click Update it likely enables the options that are disabled so you can edit them, then probably click save to update it.
