I know I can connect using ONVIF but I have one other Reolink camera connected by ONVIF and it doesn't display remotely when using SuperLive Plus app for remote access to my NVR. How many bnc cameras are you using and what type of iP cameras also remember these units are a few years old so you will be limited on the MP size you can useWed, 03 Dec 2025 20:51:52 +0000i have a westshine 16 ch hybrid dvr/nvr unit. it will show 16 channels on the monitor connected to it thru the vga or wven the hdmi ports but on a 16 ch. hybrid unit i have in the dining room table i get 8 ip feeds steady but the 8 bnc feeds that are showing thru the westshine unit are dropping all the time. i have tried different power supplies and now using a 4 amp power supply so i'm not convinced the power supply is the issue. i have ran a factory cat6 network cable from the westshine unit into the house and plugged it into the hybrid at the table and it still drops the bnc cameras. i do not think the hybrid on the table is the issue as it seems the ip cameras would be dropping out. that unit is getting the ip cameras by itself. but the bnc cameras are feeding from the west shine unit thru the network. i'm leaning on the network circuit is failing on the westshine unit because the monitor feed is solid. so what else might i try before i toss the unit. maybe it needs a firmware update, but i do not know how to get one for it? maybe the network port on the back of the westshine is failing but i do not know how to test the port for a steady feed. or it may just be a failing port?Sun, 30 Nov 2025 12:43:23 +0000I solved this by re-programming the SPI NOR flash (S25FL064K) using OLI 6604Z dump rom. For the price of what they are I would go with a DVR hybrid so it will be future proof mall your cameras will still work … the Alien was a bit of a proprietary unit it never allowed you to change some settings what is your budgetThu, 06 Nov 2025 11:44:18 +0000well i guess this is not doable as i have not got any lookers of dowers. thanks.Wed, 05 Nov 2025 15:10:02 +0000i just got a jooan hybrid dvr-nvr unit and it was sold as a hybrid. it does do hybrid but it will not let me see all my cameras. it is a 16 channel and i have 8 bnc cams and 8 ip lan cams foscams. i can set it to see all the ip cams or set it to see all the bnc cams and 4 ip cams. under the 20 cam setting but then it has 8 spaces i can't fill and in channel set it will not let me move the ip cams into those slots i have a westshine hybrid and that will let me see all the cams. does any one know if i can get a program to put in the jooan unit so it will work like the westshine? or maybe the westshine program and flash that into this jooan unit thru the usb port from a thumb stick and have it become a westshine unit. this is the data tad on the jooan unit.Tue, 04 Nov 2025 14:50:22 +0000I recently bought a used Axxtec DVR and cannot reset the admin password. I have never heard of Axxtec before and find almost no info online. It has no reset button on the board. I have tried several password reset programs using the system date etc.. no luck. took out the battery, tried all the usual methods to reset to factory. No luck. It is an Axxtec ax-xuhr32328 The main board says XVRCL-31D-32CH-V1.1 2018.12.18 On the back label it says H265+ 5mpx lite 2HDD It has sata connectors for 8 hard drives internal. 32 analog camera inputs and 12 audio inputs on the back. I would love to get access to be able to use it if anyone knows anything about this model I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer. I have had this setup working for 3-4 years now but suddenly f my Dvr has lost some configuration information. All four cameras show up on screen. I need to set up the ptz camera again. The PTZ camera is an Airspace Sam -4048. Its been at the heart of our old farm system for a long time ,but because of the 2 existing ptz cameras getting older and less reliable , one has died a while ago (and unobtainable at a sensible price) I felt it was better to put in a quality DVR hybrid that will take the bnc co ax connectors we have ,and allow me to use a new ptz 1080 p camera I already have (that will not work on the old EKO !! ) The two PTZ analogue cameras are both on Pelco P or D protocols ,and the dead one was too !! but all cameras use and have co ax and cat 5 for control Does this make sense or would you just go wireless? Our thick walls might not be the best for reliability ,despite wi fi being quite available Thanks for any advice in advance ,Sat, 01 Nov 2025 12:54:12 +0000i just got this new in the box northern hybrid 16 ch nvr from ebay. i plug it in and set it up to my account and when i plug in the lan cable it goes into a reboot mode. the company sent me a link to get the latest firmware but it will not take the firmware update. and it will not stay on the network long enough to get one from the site. so is there any way to actually rest this unit back to almost nothing? i tried removing the battery and unplugging it to see if that might reset it back to nothing and that fails. the unit model isn2hvr16 or is there a better way to get the new firmware into the unit? now and then it seems to stay on for awhile and then i search my network for cameras and it seems to see them but when i add them i have to go in and input there ip address port etc and then it will not show them. it will not let me change the stream to lower and then it again starts the bootloop. this is the file they sent me that will not install the firmware version is no where near the one the company sent me. so is this junk or maybe fixable? thanks for any ideasTue, 14 Oct 2025 12:20:03 +0000Hi. There is a drop-down field which suggests that if it functioned, it would open up giving options for 2, 3 or 4 lines. It does have the latest firmware. We have other Hikvision cameras models which have a similar drop down boxes and these function OK.
