I haven't been here in some time. I found my login info and logged in. Went to change my email and it says it's being used by someone else? and won't allow me to change it. I have had that email addy for more years than this sites been up, so what's the deal? I see nowhere how to contact to solve this issue. What to do?

Hello - I'm attempting to send a Message to one of my favorite members - but I receive a message instructing me to make more space in my Inbox. I cannot determine how to do that.. or where to find such "inbox".

Please post all your issues, questions or any other concerns or comments here. I will be checking this throughout the day but there may be a delay in responding (due to work schedule). But I will definitely try to address every issue.

I did face issues during the migration to the new software and server but I hope everything made it over correctly and works as it should. The new software is very different than the old software but it offers much more features. So many that I don't know how to load or work most of them.

The migration took much longer than I expected and offered a ton of complications. I did not want to keep the forum disabled any longer than I absolutely had to so I decided to make it live again and work out the issues I know with the software support group Monday or Tuesday.

Also, I will be making changes to the forums in the coming days - forum renaming, merging - that I did not get a chance to finish before going live again.

Can the HD-SDI be removed from the IP/Megapixel section and called HD Analogue? Then there would be SD analogue, HD analogue and IP sections. There must be a lot of people looking at HD analogue but it seems kind of tucked away right now.

There is now a free SSL/TLS certificate authority - https://letsencrypt.org/

So why aren't you encrypting the forum?

Seems I cannot post on classfieds till I am a fully member. Would a member want to post for me or can someone lift my restrictions. I come across security system electronics often. I sell on eBay but would not mind selling to a profession in security systems.

Problem receiving messages on this forum

I received an email from the CCTV Forum admin account this morning alerting me to a new message. After logging in to the forum, it stated that I had zero new messages. After going into the inbox, I discovered that I not only had received a new message, but that I had received several from people over the last few months that I didn't get notifications about and never showed up as new messages. Has anyone else been encountering any issues like this lately?

BTW, sorry to anyone who thought I was ignoring you. I just had no idea that you guys had sent me messages.

I get this periodically - but I have not made any attempts.

Just a nuisance by itself, but it is accompanied by various CAPTCHA schemes where, 9 out of ten times, the CAPTCHA is insoluable: I do the right thing, and it just keeps on throwing another CAPTCHA. Same results in both Chrome 39 and IE 11

Seems to happen in spurts. Have been unable to get in since yesterday afternoon... Tried a couple times this morning and failed. Now I just got past the Countries CAPTCHA... having failed it and another one many, many times.

A problem with the board?

Something with my system?
