<p>
	Good day, please advise.
</p>

<p>
	I have an <abbr title="In an IP surveillance system, an IP camera records video footage and the resulting content is distributed over an IP (Internet protocol)">IP</abbr> CAM covering my gate, which I am streaming wirelessly to the <abbr title="A network video recorder (NVR) is a specialized computer system that includes a software program that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card or other mass storage device.">NVR</abbr> through a wireless bridge (WisNet).
</p>

<p>
	I've installed a steel enclosure to house the <abbr title="Power over Ethernet, or PoE, describes any of several standards or ad hoc systems that pass electric power along with data on twisted pair Ethernet cabling.">PoE</abbr> switch (for the <abbr title="In an IP surveillance system, an IP camera records video footage and the resulting content is distributed over an IP (Internet protocol)">IP</abbr> Cam &amp; WisNetworks), a multiplug (surge protect) and UPS (2KVA 1200 Watts 2 x 12V 9Ah Intern) for backup power support. The backup power only last 1.45hrs. My concern is that with power cuts longer than 1.45hrs the system "dies" and when the power comes back up, the CAM stream doesn't reconnect, but when you power down/up the power at the multiplug, the CAM stream reconnects. Why?
</p>

<p>
	Unfortunately it is not always possible for me to power down/up the system manually. Why doesn't the stream automatically reconnects when the grid power returns?
</p>

<p>
	Regards,
</p>

<p>
	Hello, I'm new here so thanks for having me.
</p>

<p>
	I bought a <abbr title="A digital video recorder (DVR) is an electronic device that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card, SSD or other local or networked mass storage device.">dvr</abbr> few years ago for my sister.
</p>

<p>
	It's called govision h.264 (I can't find many details about it).
</p>

<p>
	She forgot the password and now the system it's blocked. I found a general information online which it is working for more brands and platforms but it doesn't work on mine or at least I can't make it work.
</p>

<p>
	My question is, anyone know how to reset the <abbr title="A digital video recorder (DVR) is an electronic device that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card, SSD or other local or networked mass storage device.">dvr</abbr> to factory settings?
</p>

<p>
	I tried with the battery  and with telnet , with the last one I can't even get into the system. Any instructions or videos on how to would be appreciated.

<p>
	I'd need a pan/tilt head supporting absolute positioning, but I can only found products costing hundreds of euros; I am not  professional, so I can't afford such a price for an amateur project; even just one axis movement would be enough, in a first instance, for testing;  I need a 1° positioning precision or better. But the most important thing is that I need to send commands over wifi, or bluetooth, or as as last chance over cable, but <strong>not </strong>by 433MHz/866MHz remote control.
</p>

<p>
	Any suggestion?
</p>

<p>
	Should I look only for PELCO-supporting devices, or do also <abbr title="Point Tilt Zoom - Camera functionality">PTZ</abbr> devices support absolute positioning?
</p>

<p>
	My budget is 100$. Even a  china-product on Aliexpress or Banggood would be fine... but I can't find it.
</p>

	Hi
</p>

<p>
	I have a floureon wireless cctv system and I live in a 3 story house. My router is downstairs, my cameras are mounted outside at the middle floor height and my cctv system is on the 3rd floor. I can get signal from my router to my cctv system via a tenda av1000 p3. I can get signal from 2-3 cameras but I struggle getting it from the 4th camera ( sometimes it disconnects and I have to use lan cable to connect it again . Just wondering if you can recommend anything for this issue?
</p>

<p>
	2 cameras at front of house which are fine
</p>

<p>
	2 at the back, 1 being the main problem.
</p>

<p>
	Hopefully I have explained this easy enough for you.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks

I have deleted the program and reinstalled it still not work. Works fine on WiFi but not on 4g. My wife and daughter both have the same app and connect without any problem. We have tried comparing phone settings but have not been able to find the problem. Wife has iPhone 12 daughter has same phone as me. It would appear that it must be some sort of issue with my phone. I would be most grateful for any advice given..

But the <abbr title="Point Tilt Zoom - Camera functionality">PTZ</abbr> works less than half the time. I cannot pinpoint what is causing it to work or to fail. And this is like that for years but I'm fed up with the problem and I want to get this working properly.  The coax is about 100 feet.  And I already replaced it with a better quality and that made no change. Rebooting the <abbr title="A digital video recorder (DVR) is an electronic device that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card, SSD or other local or networked mass storage device.">DVR</abbr> or the camera does not fix the problem.
</p>

<p>
	When the problem happens, it simply doesn't move or zoom. And this can stay faulty for 30 minutes, or days...  Sometimes, when it works, it can work for a few minutes only. Soon or later it'll stop moving.  I only have one camera with the <abbr title="Point Tilt Zoom - Camera functionality">PTZ</abbr> functions so I cannot compare. But I have one camera that I can control its zoom in the same way (HIKVISION-C protocol) and that one always work.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Anyone has an idea what I can look for?  There is no error code or anything anywhere so it is hard to investigate...  Unless there is a way in the Hikvision <abbr title="A digital video recorder (DVR) is an electronic device that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card, SSD or other local or networked mass storage device.">DVR</abbr> to see a log or some sort.

<p>
	Hi All,
</p>

<p>
	Happy New Year
</p>

<p>
	I recently installed a camera so that a customer can check the surf from the comfort of their home (In Cornwall).  The customer would like to be able to view the image from 2 TV's, one in the living room and one in the bedroom.  Getting a cable to the TV's would be difficult and probably messy.  So I am looking for a solution using the existing co-ax network.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I believe that this is possible through the use of a hdmi modulator, but I am unsure as to how to connect into the coax network.  There is an existing 8 way splitter in the loft next to the CCTV <abbr title="A digital video recorder (DVR) is an electronic device that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card, SSD or other local or networked mass storage device.">DVR</abbr>.  So i figure that I can connect the <abbr title="A digital video recorder (DVR) is an electronic device that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card, SSD or other local or networked mass storage device.">DVR</abbr> to the HDMI port of the modulator and then run a coax from the existing splitter to the RF in port to allow the terrestrial channels to be displayed on the TVs connected to the modulator.  Is there then a way to connect from the RF out back into the Splitter so that all TV's on the network can view the camera image?  Which port would i need to connect to on the splitter?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Or would i need an additional splitter after the modulator to then go to the TV's that will be used to see the camera image?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Hope that makes sense
</p>

<p>
	Thanks in advance
</p>

	Hi I am about to purchase a cam system for my hm and shop the distance between the two is 200ft my concern is stray voltage induced it my cabling from other sources I am not sure which cable to use Rg6 would be preferred due to size and being  more flexible and the fact there is already 1 1/2 pcv conduit in ground, In the back shop I have a milling machine with a 3 phase converter in the front I have a 1750hp Eddy current chassis dyno my question is how far away from these devices does the cable have to be ? [of course at night they are not in service and during the day only part time ] and how far away from 110v romax wire i have read not to make runs parallels to high current My conduit is installed with a run in the hm right next to each other for 3 ft  my equipment is about 15 feet from any camera or cable run i plan but i must pass over 110v  wiring  how far away from the 110v do i need to be ? I need to run for 8 cameras into the shop and around the building  should I use shielded wires wireless is out of the question any thoughts would help . thanks Royal T

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#666666;font-size:14px;">
	Hi guys
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#666666;font-size:14px;">
	I am looking at a CCTV mobile unit which has an Indigovision system running 2 x MIC 400 (they may even be 300's) cameras from a server and 2 x workstations. The computers have all been scrapped and I'm trying to just get the cameras up and running on a simple camera/keyboard basis. First, I have tried using the Indigovision keyboard. The telemetry connection at that end is an RJ11 connector marked RS232 and I have hard wired the other end into the MIC control unit using the A and B rx terminals. Protocol is Pelco P, baudrate 9600. And I get no response.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#666666;font-size:14px;">
	I then tried another keyboard which has an RS484 output but still no camera control.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#666666;font-size:14px;">
	I even tried connecting the MIC control telemetry to a RS484 output from a<span> </span><abbr style="border-bottom:none;" title="A digital video recorder (DVR) is an electronic device that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card, SSD or other local or networked mass storage device.">DVR</abbr><span> </span>but still no joy.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#666666;font-size:14px;">
	I'm clearly missing something obvious here - it should be so easy. Any suggestions?
</p>

	Hi,   I have been looking for a way to wirelessly transmit video signal from a traditional <abbr title="In an IP surveillance system, an IP camera records video footage and the resulting content is distributed over an IP (Internet protocol)">IP</abbr> camera. I have used bridge systems, but have mixed opinions. What about transmitting 1-2 cameras from a light pole to a building that is 100-200 feet away? Would a WiFi range extender work, other than they are half duplex? Is there a cheap WiFi balun or adapter that can connect the cameras to a dedicated WiFi network?
</p>

<p>
	Sorry if this is a redundant topic/post, just point me to the right direction. I guess I need the “keywords” of what I am looking for and can only describe!

<p>
	I have problem where my system is showing this camera(#12) in 3 different port like on the picture below. The camera from bottom right(M7016) supposed to be on the port #13, but when I connect it in the port #13 or #15 it creates some noise in the 3 ports, as shown in the other picture.
</p>

<p>
	I use the port #15 to test other cameras in the system (PTZs or stills) and I started having this problem after I tested a <abbr title="Point Tilt Zoom - Camera functionality">ptz</abbr> on port #15.
</p>

<p>
	Both cameras are connected to a <span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#455560;font-size:12.8px;text-align:right;">exacqVision Z-Series (<a href="https://www.exacq.com/products/z/" rel="external nofollow">https://www.exacq.com/products/z/</a>) and still in the process to find their supply box somewhere in ceiling of my store to disconnect them and connect them again, but I dont think their power supply is the problem since it was working fine before. I believe the problem is with the ports since any camera that I connect to port #12 have the same problem.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#455560;font-size:12.8px;text-align:right;">Any idea how to fix it ?</span>

	I have a Vista NPX/KBD/J3De keyboard/Joystick to operate a <abbr title="Point Tilt Zoom - Camera functionality">PTZ</abbr> dome camera and am looking for a manual for the keyboard.  I need to see if there is a calibration process or a menu system on the keyboard as recently, as soon as I select the dome camera, the camera starts to move slowly in a very small step sequence, I have no tours or presets configured as that was my first thought.  it I unplug the keyboard in-between the step movements then it stops moving, if I plug the keyboard back in it remains stationary until I select the camera again.  I'm hoping I can calibrate the joystick it stop this from happening.
</p>

<p>
	I can still move the camera and zoom in/out as normal but if I stop the camera to watch something it continues with these small step movements which means I have to keep adjusting the camera, which is annoying and inconvenient. in order to move the camera to watch a scene I have to unplug the keyboard so it doesn't wonder off.
</p>
