DVR motherboard hard reset (no reset button)

Hi there!

I have a TS8OA-3520D-FLK V3.02 20131017 HCSN 14 10 DVR motherboard and I am not able to find any way to hard reset it. I could not managed to find any reset button or any reset pads on the board. There is any way to reset this board?

Replacing an Alien EKO DVR with a new Hybrid DVR-Options ??

Hi , Not been on for a long time , but was wondering if anyone could recommend a good quality Hybrid DVR to replace our old Alien EKO please?

Its been at the heart of our old farm system for a long time ,but because of the 2 existing ptz cameras getting older and less reliable , one has died a while ago (and unobtainable at a sensible price) I felt it was better to put in a quality DVR hybrid that will take the bnc co ax connectors we have ,and allow me to use a new ptz 1080 p camera I already have (that will not work on the old EKO !! )

The two PTZ analogue cameras are both on Pelco P or D protocols ,and the dead one was too !! but all cameras use and have co ax and cat 5 for control

Does this make sense or would you just go wireless? Our thick walls might not be the best for reliability ,despite wi fi being quite available

Axxtec DVR Password reset

I recently bought a used Axxtec DVR and cannot reset the admin password. I have never heard of Axxtec before and find almost no info online. It has no reset button on the board. I have tried several password reset programs using the system date etc.. no luck. took out the battery, tried all the usual methods to reset to factory. No luck.

It is an Axxtec ax-xuhr32328 The main board says XVRCL-31D-32CH-V1.1 2018.12.18

On the back label it says H265+ 5mpx lite 2HDD

It has sata connectors for 8 hard drives internal.

32 analog camera inputs and 12 audio inputs on the back.

I would love to get access to be able to use it if anyone knows anything about this model I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer.

Dahua dvr and Airspace ptz camera problem

I have a problem with my Dahua DH-XVR4108HS-X1 setup. I have had this setup working for 3-4 years now but suddenly f my Dvr has lost some configuration information. All four cameras show up on screen. I need to set up the ptz camera again.

The PTZ camera is an Airspace Sam -4048. On screen I can see the address is 1 and the baud rate is 2400. anyone know which protocol i should use for this camera? any info would be greatly appreciated

Will Hikvion IP cams work on Vivotek ND9322P_v2

We have a several Vivotek IP cams coupled up to a ND9322P_v2 NVR. We are looking to change to Hikvsion or Axis cams because Vivotek no longer give the specs we need.

Can anypone tell me if these two other brands will be compatible with the NVR?

Dahua Camera not reachable after hard reset - Why ?

Hi,

I bought 3 used Dahua IPC-HDBW2431R-ZS-S2.

I connected the first one to a POE Switch. The Camera Power Up and have the IP-Address 192.168.1.197.
I logged in with the web browser on this IP-Address but I didn't have the Username/Password. So I did a hard reset with the button inside the camera (I pressed the button for approx. 30 sec)

The IP-Address return to 192.168.1.108 but since then I no longer have the connection window !

I tried a longer reset (1 min) but it didn't change anything.

I tried with a second Camera: same problem

What can I do now?

Hi All,

Saw a DS-7108HWI-SH (8ch BNC) on ebay that was cheap and thought I would take it on. I have several BNC cameras lying around and if I put a camera in a vulnerable spot, it wouldn't hurt if it was damaged.

Seller says the unit has been reset to factory default.

I was wondering that, in your opinion, if I sent the XML key from SADP to Hikvision, would they bother to send me a reset code, seeing that the DVR is from 2012 or earlier?

Is it possible to Play recordings at high speed (2x - 4x - 8x) on Dahua DVRwhen I watch the recordings on a PC ?

I'm tried with Firefox and Edge and I don't see the buttons for fast playback.

I only have this (see attached picture)

Am i doing something wrong?

On the Dahua XVR User Manuel, it's Write "Revision History" with a table and Revision date.

It's Hardware revision (some changes on main board) or just Software revision (software update) ?

I recently acquired a Hikvision DVR model IDS-7216HQHI-M1/XT and found that it unfortunately does not support a function that my other Hikvision DVR model EV4008TURBOD does have. This function is the possibility to define a Recording Schedule that is different than the Arming Schedule defined for motion event recording.

On the EV4008TURBOD DVR I can define a Recording Schedule based on Motion (not Event), meaning that it will record whenever motion is detected in the days/hours specified. In this same equipment, I can define a separate Arming Schedule, in the different days/hours specified, based on a Motion Event, that will trigger a "Send Email" Alarm Linkage Action. For example, I can define a Recording Schedule that will only record when motion is detected in all 24 hours / 7 days a week and on the other hand I can define an Arming Schedule that will trigger sending an email only from 10PM to 6AM Monday-Sunday, when a Motion event is detected.

On the IDS-7216HQHI-M1/XT I cannot define these functions separately. I can define the Recording Schedule based on Event (not Motion), which will only record during the days/hours defined in the Arming Schedule for the Motion Event. So, if I set the Arming Schedule to trigger sending an email from 10PM to 6AM Monday-Sunday, when a Motion event is detected, the Recording Schedule will only record from 10PM to 6AM Monday-Sunday, when motion is detected.

I believe that this limitation is due to the fact that the EV4008TURBOD will allow defining a Recording Schedule based on Movement (not Event), whereas the IDS-7216HQHI-M1/XT will only allow defining a Recording Schedule based on Event (not Motion):

I have already updated to the latest Firmware on the IDS-7216HQHI-M1/XT.

I will greatly appreciate any comments or ideas on how I could get this function to work on this DVR that I recently acquired, if at all possible.

I updated the device to regular version but the problem still exists
Is there a way to fix this problem by disabling the update completely???

Hey All!

I'm a former AV installer, just trying to keep my home running. I was a Crestron guy, so all my stuff is home-run, etc. I'm looking for a good, 16 channel HDCVI (all my camera runs are RG6Q with Cat 5e backup) with IR and or IP control.

I guess this function is being removed from newer DVR's? I currently have a Dahua DVR which is OK. You can't touch the coax BNC connectors...or you'll lose 3 channels...but OK!! It's working, but I always like to have a backup

device in mind, so I can do a quick purchase when this model dies. I WAS looking at their $ 1,400 X84R line...but they removed all IR control!! Yep...the $ 500 model has it...the $ 1,400 doesn't??!!

I need IR or IP control so I can use all these expensive touchpads in my home, to bring up a channel of my choice. It's also worked into all the programming the family has enjoyed for years.

What are you installers putting these days? I wouldn't mind stepping up the build quality while I'm at it! I feel like I'm going to break this thing...everytime I disconnect a cable!

Can anyone recommend a good DVR with 4K recording and IR/IP Channel control? I'd like to play around with IP Cameras down the line, so it must take both coax and IP cams.

Dahua XVR5232AN-X - how to replace NAND flash - stuck on message System startup

Dahua XVR5232AN-X -bad blocks appeared on flash. I tried to clone old flash F50L1G41A to new one. But xvr stuck on message "System startup".

Then I flashed the factory flash XVR7x16-X (and a couple of others) - the result is the same.
In the program, when flashing the firmware, I tried to turn on and off the Spare area programming (I also cut out these areas from the dump). The result is the same - in the console there is only "System startup".
Does anyone know how to properly replace a flush in these regs?

Not sure what to call this. But if you look at my youtube video, it is really noticeable in the grass. Pick 1080 in youtube to see it clearer. The video is changing each second. My dvr is the Dahua XVR5116H.

I don't know what to look for or change.

New Dahua XVR5116H HDD alarm

I just received this dvr Tuesday and it was running fine with the Western Digital 3TB purple drive for 24 hours. This drive had worked fine in my old Dahua for 8 years. Now its alarming and shows a warning for health.

I have formatted and even tried another drive. I even did a factory reset of the dvr.

Getting close to getting my money back or upgrading.

We have a Hikvision DS-96128NI-I24/H NVR with 80TB storage. After seeing a demo of an AI system, and how easy and fast it was to search, I was wondering what NVRs out there have advanced AI search and features that can purchased rather than pay a monthly fee for the service which for 32 cameras gets quite expensive. Would like to replace the Hikvision NVR with something more robust with very good, fast, intuitive search capabilities. Anyone have such a system and are you happy with it?

Any software for Hikvision NVR viewing that doesn't suck?

We have a Hikvision DS-96128NI-I24. It records reliably but it's never a good experience remote viewing and/or searching for events. It's clunky and the Hikvision software just is cumbersome and also buggy at times. Since the workforce these days seems to be comprised of adult toddlers who need constant supervision, we need something that is more responsive and easier to work with in general. There are 32 cameras on the NVR. I need to setup something inside an office on site that will be connected via Ethernet or WiFi to the NVR. I also need something to view remotely preferably on a Mac or iPad. Appreciated any recommendations.

Viewing Tapo camera on VIPER-5MPL-8 DVR

Wasn't sure whether to post to security cameras or this section, but this seems to be more appropriate.

I can connect to my Tapo C210 camera via RTSP with VLC on Windows, but have had no luck adding it to my DVR.
When clicking on the "test" button, it responds with "invalid username/password" or "offline", but the IP address is correct, the port is open, and both username and password are correct...
Not sure what I'm doing wrong, so hopefully someone here can enlighten me.

i just got this jennov nvr with built-in monitor model v1908f85-8e. i was told by the seller that i would be able to see all my cameras i have on my network with this unit.

so i set it up and it will not see the cameras that i have connected to my dvr/nvr unit. that unit sees all of my cameras. also i have 2 other nvr units that will see both the ip cameras and the dvr cameras.

this jennov nvr is on the same network i checked the box to get this one to align to my router and then unchecked it so it will not change back to what it shipped with, i did that for all the other dvr and dvr/nvr units.

With respect to an older standalone CCTV DVR from around 2010,: Anyone every have to reconfigure the recording settings after replacing the units HDD? It seems to revert to a factory default when a new HDD is installed? Is this normal?
