    System recommendations for C-Store

Hi joeC. a petrol station will always have a big theft loss with it being drive offs or a fuel account customer with a disspute on there bill. and also like everywere else in the world they are easy for the armed robbery. the first thing your customer is going to want WHEN it happends are details face/ good image / licence plates. it does not cost more money its the planning of the system.

with a gas station you need good fps and D1. a gas station is a high risk area so you want to make shure you have good footage. another good factor for a gas station is to hols at least 30 days footage. the samsung is a good dvr but the fps is limited it does it best fps at cif.

    no HDD UPER LEFT CORNER

Hi. up untill know has your dvr been working ??? another thing to look at is if your hard drive is set for overwrite.
  11. hi yes its about 7fps but the spec reads Record Frame Rate (Shared) (D1) 120 FPS, (CIF) 30 FPS at the moment there hybrid is only 16 way + 4 ip. and limited to 1 brand of ip. at the moment i think the Apollo HD PRO D1 is better for the money.
  12. hi. well most of the site is discontinued systems. but this is on of there new dvr. Display Resolution 704x480 Display Frame Rate 30 FPS per camera Playback Resolution (D1) 704x480, (CIF) 352x240 Record Frame Rate (D1 or CIF) 30FPS/camera <<<<<<< they list the best 30fps. why dont they list the D1 fps. they even have a new D1 listed at 60fps across 16 cameras. thats 3fps most dvrs now do the least 7fps on each.

    Dome v housed?

the CNB will do the job or the huviron both can be set to zoom auto on motion or zoomed via remote control. or from dvr. CNB = XGB-20CS/XGB-21CS huviron = SK-P700IRD/M844AI,
  15. there site has been like this for over a month http://www.q-see.com/security-digital-video-recorder.htm Missing Page The Q-See website has been changed. Please use the search box to search for products or one of the menus to find the page you want. but at the end of the day an un true spec is no spec at all. many people come on the forum. .... i bought a system D1 24/7 28 days on 350gb H/D then ask why there footage is bad. and the truth is they are recording CIF to get that on 350gb H/D for D1 24/7 30 days you will need atleast 4tb

    Need CCTV for Small Hotel

So just the Cat5e wiring can supply BOTH power and video? What is a "baluns"? hi. with a 70 room hotel that will be long cable runs i would not think of using RG59. you are also going to be 3 phase power . using Cat5 is your best option. i would run 2 cat5 cables to each floor .. ... this gives you either 8 cameras or 4 camera and 4 audio or 6 cameras and 2 audio. most hotels now have what is called a dry rise. this is the area that all communication i.e phones/fire alarms pass though the hotel. i know with the likes of holiday inn and hiltons they also require that you follow that route. we use the CNB DBM-20VD/DBM-21VD for hall ways in hotels. which are well priced with 1 video balun on each floor.
  17. Q-See QSD9004V-320 q-see in the last few months have taken the specs of each dvr off there site ..... WHY ? people need to know what they are buying. but even there specs are misleading from your dvr spec Record Frame Rate (Shared) (D1) 120 FPS, (CIF) 30 FPS Bull.

    Need CCTV for Small Hotel

hi. never a good idea to buy what is the heart of the system cheap. it will be poor quality and inturn give you very bad image quality.
  19. hi. your company your website http://www.lxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/New%3A_LUPUS_-_LE_800-p.html (i will pm you your web page) still listed and it does say , Test the new LE800 and the new free app for the Apple Iphone: and your NEW iphone app does not work with this DVR. so in all fairness to the forum member it was sold with iphone control (as your web page)
  20. multiple of additional functionalities: mouse control, VGA-port, IR remote control, PTZ-control, alert in- and ouput ports, live access via mobile phone, email alert notifications incl. screenshots, your website lists iphone ....>>>>> BUT you never say it does not control PTZ cameras. you still sell this DVR today .... it would be good if you list on your website NO Control with Iphone.
  21. Dahua are still doing alot of work on there hybrid. the problem at the moment is you can only use IP cortex cameras. the hybrid is 16 channel with another 4 (total 20 channel) for ip no switcher or extra router needed just plug in RJ45 for power and video. but its all down to budget. the Apollo HD PRO D1 16 channel dahua full D1comes in 4 / 8 / and 16 channel is also a good dvr. looking at your q-see are you recording in CIF ? as you cant get 24/7 D1 11 days on a 320gb hard drive. you will see a big differance in going Full D1 to what you have now with the cameras you already have.
  22. the samsung cameras are still sold. your problem will be that they are internal cameras and are sold for $90 to be able to use them you will also be looking at buying housings and heaters. like birdman has said the DVR. you may have problems also with the H/drives and fans (they will need replacing at that age) another problem is you buy and find it is all locked with password. if you are moving up from a 4 way why not just buy a 8 way all new. its not going to cost you much more by the time you have bought all the secondhand equipment and then paid for all the housings and H/drive upgrades. and all the extras you are looking at $2.500 to $3000 and only end up with a CIF system
  23. why do companies say they are in 1 country yet payment and phone numbers are a total differant country. your not even registered in the uk. do you not think things like this can be bad for a company
