Indoor Doctor Office Camera - Low Profile

this has a 2 week waiting list the new ip from axis nice and small. AXIS M7001 can deliver two simultaneous video streams, one in H.264 and another in Motion JPEG, at full frame rate in all resolutions up to D1 (720x480 in NTSC, 720x576 in PAL). The H.264 video compression format drastically reduces bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality. Motion JPEG is supported for increased flexibility. The video encoder also provides video motion detection. AXIS M7001 is powered over Ethernet using the same cable as for data transmission, which simplifies installation. AXIS M7001 Covert Surveillance Kit The video encoder can feed power to the small covert camera that is included in the AXIS M7001 Covert Surveillance Kit. The surveillance kit consists of one AXIS M7001 Video Encoder and one small IP66-rated covert camera.
  4. Hi Tommy. if it is just a repacement camera you are looking for then its just a matter of a bit of mod to your mast. to take another camera. this is a very good camera which sould fit no problem. http://www.cnbtec.com/en/html/product/product.php?seqx_prod=363
  5. its a neat camera for sure, their whole line is pretty amazing, but its a little out of my budget. it will be cheaper than 2 ip cameras plus you dont need a pc for storage of footage. it has sd card onboard. so 2 ip cameras 1 pc against 1 all in one camera. and install costs mobotix 20mins and installed
  6. i think you will be buying an expensive dummy camera. without the ip username / camera id you will not get it to work unless you know the company that installed it. and to have the camera re flashed (can only be done by mobotix) will cost you £350-£400 and with that cost and the auction price you could buy a new one. oh and you will also need the software and licence it would have been on a disk with camera. (free) if this is not with the camera add another £100
  7. for 300sq ft the mobotix Q24 would be the ideal camera for you. take a look at the demo.
  8. yes i have sent one back for reset £150. now for the bad news Do not buy from auction site. the uk has many of these cameras up and down the country and 5 to 10 are stolen each week. and you can not get them working they are locked down to the network they are on. and this will also show up at mobotix.

Urgent Help needed on Avtech 791

you would be best to pm scorpion on the forum he eats avtech for breakfast. but it sounds to me when you set your dvr up you have set your recording to cif (this is the lowest for your dvr) you need to adjust this for the future. to a higher res but it will eat into your storage. also how did you do the back-up (on usb memory or over the lan)
  10. Hi Marcel. yes this is good for avermedia also the q24. a few things to look at before you buy a secondhand mobotix. you need the passwords. also all the original paperwork or you will not get it working and it will need to go back to mobotix. and this has a cost. for a reset. if you need the ip patch for avermedias to run mobotix then please just pm me.
  11. Hi if you are only looking at 3-4 cameras then i would look at the avermedia 1304 sata. very good little system over the internet. or mobile/smartphone/iphone. if you would like to have some ip addresses for a demo please pm me.
  12. This is going to be another good long running post. whos idea is it to use Nitrogen Pressurized Cameras. because you dont want to use wipers. WIPERS are on the outside of the camera. so if you are in a enviroment that needs wipers you will still need them. it might be better if you post your contractors plan. a 200 camera system needs very good planning. things like redwall sensors alarm inputs and whos software are you going to use. does it have a good cms software. like your monitor wall a great deal of thought needs to go into it. to watch 200 cameras you will need at least 16 monitors (12 cameras on each) then extra for alarm alerts (another 2 at least) and i would also use nvrs. having 200 cameras going back to a server in the security room does not make the system secure i would use a few nvrs around the complex (if the security office gets hit everything goes off) its going to be interesting reading comments on this post.
  13. its a mobotix. and a very good camera.

    Newbie Help

Hi benny. start with this link. and ask if they have a distributor near you. or ask rory. but googling giovision is a waste of time. they are so many clone cards about it is just not worth it. but you are not going to buy cheap cards. pro equipment like geovision are one of the leaders and worth spending money. good for you and also your customer to have there support. http://www.usavisionsys.com/index.php

sounds like you have the Leviathen dvr. if you are using a memory pen to take footage off. the dvr has usb at the front of the machine and on the back. you have to use the usb on the back of the machine to take footage off

  24. sounds like you are entering your set-up with a user password. you need to enter the admin password to have full control. or you have not stopped your dvr from recording. before you can change the settings.
