  1. Are they shipping yet? I see several companies selling but dont see anyone with them in stock.
  2. You should check yourself just for fun I know it would not connect to ACC prior to the update. Now it happily connects via onvif. How do I check the camera for the onvif version. I cannot see it under any menus on the camera web setup.
  3. Did you actually check if camera running Onvif 2.2 Profile S ? I'm going by what is in the release notes for the new v6.02.03 firmware.
  4. Is Acti running Onvif 2.2? It is running Onvif 2.2 Profile S but with Avigilon I get nothing in the settings under image and display and no motion setup. The picture quality is quite good though. Hopefully Avigilon will have them included with all the other Acti cameras so Onvif can be bypassed.
  5. I got it as well and can use them with Avigilon, but there is still no option for motion recording even with Onvif 2.2.
  6. Do you have any control over the focal point? Say you were wanting to focus on an area 30ft away.
  7. You can look at the firmware versions on Acti's site. It depends on what software your using. I think Acti's NVR software works with them. There supposed to have new firmware soon. I have some D51's that are sidelined waiting on the update.
  8. Has anyone had time to get one working? I would be interested to hear about it.
  9. I too am waiting on an updated firmware. I think it's too early to do any critical reviews. Overall it looks like a great value.
  10. If your buying cameras for personal use to test and review , just buy an Avigilon camera. I like your reviews and would love to see one from you on the Avigilon 3mp.
  11. You won't be disappointing with Avigilon. What you need for your cameras is an Avigilon 4 port encoder. They are not very expensive, and only use one license. You could have 4 ptz's on one encoder and control them all with ACC and with the gateway, from your iPhone. I have all of the above (and more) and wouldn't change a thing.

MGA fired all US based employees today!

I can't find any news about it. Something like that should be all over the news methinks.

    Removing IR Filter

It's likely the IR filter is a coating on the lens, so that might not be an option.
  14. I think Korgoth gave a clue to where he is ^^^^^^ Most games we get consume large amounts of time when new. It's all about priorities.
  15. Can you enlighten me on how you did this? I am still scratching my head trying to figure how to get an IP connecting in the camera housing.
  16. Very cool. Which cameras provide that capability?
  17. Is that a camera to camera thing, or handled by NVR software?
  18. Ando you need to talk them into putting a group buy together for CCTVFORUM members.
  19. Thank you Ando. Will be interesting to see how it is priced and to see some action video.
  20. I wonder why the KCM-8211 is not on Acti's web site. I just see the KCM-8111 and ACM-8511.
  21. Plan to mount it on a PT (Pelco Spectra). I want an outdoor PTZ and ACTI's new one is indoor.
  22. Maybe we will get lucky and find someone that can do a side by side night shot of the 5511 and 5611. That picture looks great. In my environment there is no light beyond what I provide. Some of my cameras only show night images when the moon is high and bright.
  23. My thoughts also. No support for Dahua either.
  24. I'm glad you brought that up. I would go with the 5611 in that case. There does not seem to be that much difference in price.
