I received my camera today....I haven't had time to install it outside yet....But from the tests I've done indoors, The camera seems to react to light changes much better than the 2100!

The latest firmware for Dahua IPC-HFW2100 is still General_IPC-HFW2100(HFW3100)_Eng_P_V2.100.0000.9.R.20120621 ?

 

The main issues of this firmware : when change the resolution to 720 P it crop the image .

 

Any new release to resolve this bug ?

 

P.S. Please, fell free to put here what Dahua firmware you have.

I checked my 2100 and the Software Version is 2.100.0001.0.R, build : 2012-10-31. This is the firmware that came with the camera, So i do not have a copy of it. Sorry

I've got a hfw2100 and its working fine in 2 degree weather for the past week...

Not sure about that app...But I've heard IP camera viewer being talked about on here a few times and it works with a lot of IP camera's.

I have been searching for a good DVR and came across this one which i really like. http://www.cctvsecuritypros.com/8chpsefud1di.html

Does anyone know if this is a Dahua? If so which model is it? I did notice in the sticky it states all their DVRs are Dahua. I've looked all over their website and tried to match up the pictures but haven't found a match. If someone knows of a better or comparable DVR I'm open to suggestions.
