  1. First off you will not see or be able to retrieve any data from your DVR's HDD as the DVR manufacturer will prob use there own proprietary OS. So don't waist time trying that. Your best bet is to get it working with a screen/tv. How are you connecting to it? HDMI? VGA or comp vid? HDMI and VGA both have various resolutions so the DVR out put res could be set to high or low for the screens to see. If your DVR has a video out I would use that to see if you can access the required footage.
  2. Evening, Looking for some help, I have a load of data (.avi files) that has been exported using Titan nclient. Problem I have is the version of nclient I have will not play the footage and I can not get access to the system the data was exported from. Dose anyone have a link to where I can download the most recent version so I can review what I need to review.
  3. I have had this issue before with a few different brands of Dvr. In all but one the issue was the hdd, with that disconnected the Dvr would run and not alarm or reboot. The one that the drive was good turned out to be an issue with the psu.
  4. Have you exported any data from the unit yet? If so what file extension is it? Also a picture of the gui showing any menus might also help identify it. N

back up to flash drive problem

Little more info required befor some one could help you, What Dvr do you have? What size of USB are you using and what format is it? Reason I ask that is depending on the age of the Dvr it might not see a USB drive over 2GB, or if your USB is over 32GB it will be formatted to ntfs, again a lot of dvrs don't like nyfs formatted drives so I always make sure any external USB drive I use for cctv recovery is formatted to FAT32.
