    Hikvision DS-7200

Could. Also. Be just limited to 1 account and still. Be admin until we have more. Details we won't know

    Hikvision DS-7200

If the op is unable to use the password on more than one account then it could be a user account not admin and qr code setup is more risky as it uses third party connection where as ddns only forwards to the correct ip

    Hikvision DS-7200

In the setup part of your machine find the ipmaddress the gateway needs to be the same as the router and the network address needs to be on the same address subnet as the router Example DVR IP 192.168.0.11or 192.168.1.11 Subnet 255.255.255.0 Gateway 192.168.0.1 (or 192.168.1.1) this is the actual router address either a 0 or 1 network On the port page or more option http set to something other than 80 say example 716 Server port 9298 example Ddns setup User name is your login name for your ddns service like no up example sprattscctv Password is what ever you choose Domain name is what your service name is example my cameras.ddns.net Open ddns service and make a connection name for your device or mycameras.ddns.net Setup the user account password etc Go into the router in port forwarding page use up address of machine and add two ports for the CCTV DVR and http what your DVR ports are set to using the Mac address or ip address In your ddns setup page on the router input all the details of your ddns service setup from thendvd and no IP etc and then test using canyouseeme.org hope that's useful for you

    Hikvision DS-7200

The better way to setup the DVR would be to port forward it through your router and use a Ddns service

Upgrading to IP System from CCTV

What's the bit rate set to in kbps and what resolution and frame rate have you got I've posted a couple of masked out for privacy images on another thread of my 2mp on here if you go to my profile you'll find my recent post and attachments that is hd turbo DVR with 2mp cameras and framerate 25 FPS at 4096 kbps
  17. First of I'm old school but I don't use ip due to latency issues on some systems I prefer proper coax based systems with BNC connector I've just upgraded using hikvision thct120 2.8mm 2mp cameras, thct220 varifoxal 2mp cameras 2.8-12mm and 2mp high speed domes and the quality from the existing coax cabling to the new ds7316hghi hikvision DVR at 11 tb has been superb I'll attach a picture when I get home of the images of each model above if you want to see the tvi systems in operation
  18. From reading the post I would say a minimum 650 va ups for around 10 minutes gold on short minor outage with power restore quickly if you could go bigger in various then get the largest you could afford for the best possible run time in power outage our CCTV is 16 cameras on a hd DVR the power supply and DVR run about 140 watts and our ups only protects the DVR from sudden crashing or shutdown to give time to shut down unit mines gives 10 minutes at 650va unit but the wattage is 90 watts that is drawn from the ups output
