    Lost Spot Monitor

I just upgraded a GV-1480 to 8.1 and now have lost the spot monitor. It isn't even in the menu anymore. Any ideas?

    Lost Spot Monitor

Downloaded another copy of the drivers and reinstalled. A message came up that I was replacing a newer version of the driver; did it anyway and now the spot monitor has returned. Hmm....

  7. I am looking for feedback from anyone who has used these cameras. http://www.specotech.com/cart/products/default.asp?catid=268&action=viewcat I have also heard that cameras with external zoom and focus controls tend to have issues with moisture. I assume this camera (HT-INTB1)would be susceptible too. Thanks.

So are you saying that the MultiQuad output looks better than the TV out on the Combo Card?

I could not get your viewer demo to connect. Looks interesting. I would like to check it out. But is the quality the same as the DSP output? http://demo1.cctvbuyers.com/240/240? What are you referring to?

NV5000 vs GV1480 What I like better about the NV5000: · Slightly better perceived remote view quality. · Remote client supports 1, 4, 9 or 16ch full screen multiview. · IP camera support. · Easily upgradeable for additional cameras. Low initial cost. GV1480 · More features, options and software. If you are going to use them. · Much larger user base/community. Easier to get help from other users. (though kandcorp does a great job for Aver) · Easier to search through recorded footage. More polished interface. · Audio included. No extra cards to buy. · The deal breaker for me: highly configurable spot monitor out (though I wish you could watch recorded video). Aver could only scan through cameras. I think the NV5000 is a good product, but for most of MY applications, Geovision is the way to go. Compare the features and decide which are important to you. Either card is worth the money. imho

Doesn't look like a plane to me??

They never seem to mention that in their rants. I have read pages of text going on and on about how it must have been a military jet, missile or drone plane but never once mention anything about what happened to that flight and the people on board. I guess they just went through the Stargate.
  15. This don't look like Pac-Man to me......
  16. I don’t know if the NV6000 has the same tv out as the NV5000, but if it does then be aware that the monitor will only show selected cameras in sequence mode.

I have seen the kit for sale which includes the usb adapter and software for over $300 and the usb adapter by itself for under $100. Why are they selling the kit and charging $200 for the software when you can download it for free?
