    Buy IP camera and NVR from one brand. OR the IP camera and NVR both support ONVIF protocol.

    Monthly fee is not really acceptable by many consumers. Some IP cameras can store on your cellphones instead of cloud-based storage. Then you can also buy a SD card for storing videos. You can ask for more details and then choose one.
