Afternoon,

I am about to embark on purchasing and installing a CCTV system at home. I have an issue where I cannot get an ethernet cable to my router and TV. Is this level of connectivity needed, ie can I just use an app. Is there an alternative method, ie power over ethernet sockets, are these reliable, or should I just purchase a wireless camera system?

Any advice gratefully received.

I am looking at purchasing a home CCTV system but my router is in very hard to get to place with regards to running a LAN cable to it. Is there an alternative way in which I can connect the system to my router so I can view the video stream via an app?
