CQMax CQNet Series DVR Issue... HELP!!!

how about a single zero (0)
  2. we do many manufacturers for mjpg or jpg shapshots on the iphone but i seem to remember having trouble with acti for some reason. i am going to take another look though and see if i can at least get the jpg snapshot. even in this case our app can keep pulling the snapshots to simulate a slower version of mjpg. beats having to hit the refresh button constantly, smile.

    Milestone Software

i'm looking at these guys also http://www.exacq.com/products/nvrsoftware.htmls software looks well designed and their blog is current with updates. handles h264. not sure about cell clients which would actually be a good point for me to address with them. hopefully they have a sdk and a demo version to work with.

    Milestone Software

explains why i couldn't find a trace of it on my server. onssi is the same product so i'm sure it uses the same backend.
  16. possibly out of budget but you can take a look at mobotix

    Milestone Software

the applications are a direct connection between ip camera/video encoder and the cellular phone. there is a compatibility list on the website with tested models and supported functions. no 3rd party server or app required, no monthly or yearly fees, etc. just a direct connection. there are videos showing them in operation on the website. touchscreens use flicks for pan and tilt and in the case of iphone it uses pinches for zoom functions. android and winmo versions also support touchscreens. thewireguys are you talking to me or jason?

    Milestone Software

i don't know that answer jason. i was looking at milestone from a developer's point of view. we tried to eval milestone and found their support to be less than helpful. after 2 emails they wanted to start charging $200 an hour for support. utterly ridiculous for some simple email questions (2 emails to be exact). needless to say we dropped it fast. also i questioned why they only allow for password and not username (you HAVE to use the admin username of the ip camera so you need to know this information. if you change the default admin username it will not work). very weird to me. this is like a security breach i think because anyone who knows a company is using milestone now knows the username to any camera. they can just brute force the password to gain access to the cameras directly. i did install it and i don't see any sql service either so i am not sure how it installs. i did not install any sql manager so it could be there somewhere. it doesn't install sql manager by default. we are doing Onssi now which is the same thing rebranded for the US. their support is much more helpful in my case so i am satisfied with looking into implementing their nvr on the various cellular interfaces. again it did not install a sql service. if i find out more i will let you know. this may help you though http://www.milestonesys.com/support/questions_and_answers/estimator_and_calculators Rob Conlin Intelligent Designs Group, LLC www.totalcontrolapp.com

    Milestone Software

from the manual In the Database Setup Wizard you will get the choice of using an existing SQL 2000/2005 Server on the network or setting up an SQL Server Express Edition (a lightweight, yet powerful, version of a full SQL server) on the Management Server computer itself.

Non Active X CCTV DVR support

we already support mobotix on various cell phones including the iphone at www.totalcontrolapp.com in case anyone is interested. strictly mjpg at this point. rtsp support is currently in development. we also support dvr via axis video encoders for the cell phones too. Rob

beta testers for ip camera application on blackberry

a couple of things. 1. the blackberry app is out of beta. you can find info regarding it at www.totalcontrolapp.com 2. alnet has different hardware/software solutions. are you just using it to connect to ip cameras? if so please see our compatibility list for ip cameras under the blackberry section on www.totalcontrolapp.com. we also support Axis video encoders for analog camera/dvr support. the dvr will need a balun video out for the channel(s) you want to view video on. 3. there is a contact form on the website under contacts. send an inquiry with your setup details (hardware/software) and we will let you know if there is a way to use our application with your setup. 4. video link to youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXsVD_GAek0 Thanks, Rob Conlin Intelligent Designs Group, LLC http://www.totalcontrolapp.com

GE DVRMe CT II Wave Browser Trouble

the activex plugin could be corrupt or not compatible with the version of IE you are using. delete the activex plugin in IE and try to reinstall it. double check that the IE version is the same for the internal pc that works vs. the remote that doesn't. wave uses the ports that activex will use so if one works the other should also.
  23. typically you will need IE with either an activex plugin or a java applet to run. otherwise the manufacturer will provide an installation software to view/control/etc. i am not familiar with this hardware. can you check the manual and see what the stated requirements are for computer access.
