  1. Hi people, I am sorry, because I don't know exactly to post this! I'm planning to buy this camera https://dahuawiki.com/USA/HDCVI/Camera/PTZ/Ultra/50430IC, it's gonna cover 500 meter distance(between camera and command center) and I don't know how to connect this without cable (power supply is nearby)? I would appreciate any advice. P.S: Is this possible to use two of these MikroTik SXTsq Lite5 Wireless CPE to send and receive with this HDCVI camera? Will the connection be stable?
  2. Good day all,Is anyone using a hikvision PTZ with A Geovision NVR?I have added the new Hikvision DS-2DE4A225IW-DE to the NVR V 8.7, and have the image, recording, alerts, etc going, but I am not sure how to configure the PTZ portion.PTZ digital works - but only within the currently displayed image of course.I have added the camera both as an ONVIF and a RTSP (the latter seems to work better) but no difference on the PTZ.If I look at system configure - accessories - ptz device and ptz io, the options there seem to want a physical port/connection to operate. I would like to use it just ONVIF or RTSPIs it possible with GEOVISION NVR (no scrap geovision suggestions please)? If not, I can always use the hikvision utility for added PTZ (I have scheduled positions set up so dont often have to change it too often) but would rather have full fnctionality through GV and thought someone out there could point me in the right direction. Thanks for your help W
  3. Hello. When I log in to my account of ICsee app, there must be 2 cameras connected, but I don't see them. I live now in Georgia, but Cameras are in Russia. I shared my account with a friend from Belgium, and he didn't face the problem which I have. What's the problem with ICsee app?
  4. I have an Pelco outdoor camera housing that is heated/vented that had a Panasonic BB-HCM381A indoor camera working fine in it for about 10 years before it quit. I'm looking to replace the Panasonic with a new INDOOR PTZ camera, preferably with POE. I don't need an all-in-one outdoor PTZ camera with a housing/package - already got that. In my home I have a few Amcrest PTZ cameras that work fine and would mount in the Pelco, but they are not POE and their power connector is now USB-C, so they won't work (easily). Any ideas? Thanks.
  5. Hello, I have a problem with the Dahua DH-XVR5104HS-L2 recorder, I connect to it via p2p via the smart pss program, I have set points and tour there, and while I am logged in to smart pss and have live view enabled, everything works fine, but if I close the smart pss program, the camera continues to record, but it stops rotating. what should I do in such a situation? Thanks for the answers.
  6. Hi, so I currently work at a retail store and we use the Checkpoint Clarity Concept. We bought a replacement unit from Ebay last February and now I got this code on the screen that displays "MENU Error-Call Service". I tried everything possible and the code won't go away. I can't get this fixed through my retailers support since they don't provide us with these units anymore. I did find someone selling a installation device that connects to the unit, does anyone know if that specific device can troubleshoot the unit? Thanks
  7. Any help here is greatly appreciated. I found this cheap PTZ (temporary mount for testing) at a thrift shop for $24 and it was in an endless restart loop. I opened it up and it was a loose plug on the power board. No more cycling, I'm now able to see video in Sighthound and IP Camera Viewer but obviously no optical zoom or Pan. I can reach the cam at it's IP address but I have a very unusual Internet setup right now (cellular hotspot through bridged router to wired connection to camera) so when I'm prompted to download the Live View Plug in I get a no internet pop up message. The link to the plug in leads to Huisuncctv website but all the download links are dead there. Does anyone have this plug in or any suggestions? Also any tip about operating systems/browsers that it will work with and settings would be appreciated.
  8. Hi everyone, has anyone come across an outdoor PTZ with a longer lens than the 7.5 to 270mm we are using now? Our budget is up to approximately double the price of the Hik DS-2DF8836IX-AEL(W) that we are using now. Here in Australia that is a budget of $AUS 10,000. We'd like to keep to the same high specs for resolution and low light performance, and have awesome IR or laser. It would be pole mounted at 35m on a farm and we would like to get full benefit from the elevation. The existing NVR is the HIK DS-9632NI-I8 which works with ONVIF or PSIA protocols. Thank you.
  9. Hello everyone! I'm new in here and I hope you guys can help me out. Long story short: I already set my PTZ camera to patrol around and it wan't hard doing it, but now I have problem with people who throw garbage around my work. Especially from 7 to 9. and I was trying to make PTZ watch the exact place from 7 to 9, and after 9 or 10 to continue patroling around. Can anyone help me with that? I'll be so thankful with any advice!!
  10. I have an Alibi BLK-PTZ36XIR PTZ camera (https://www.supercircuits.com/media/docs/blk-ptz36xir-manual-br.pdf) which I believe is the same as the Hikvision DS-2AE7168N-A (https://us.hikvision.com/en/products/more-products/discontinued-products/analog-ptz-camera/ds-2ae7168n-ds-2ae7168n). Everything on the camera seems to work, but the focus. The picture is only in focus at a certain zoom level (around 10x). Anything wider or more zoomed is completely blurry. The fine tune zoom control changes the focus slightly and is only helpful if the camera is zoomed at ~10x already. I've changed all the settings I can find, reset things to default, etc. Manual focus, Auto-focu and Half-focus - nothing seems to work. I can't find any updated firmware to try (and I'm not sure how to install it anyway since it's an analog camera). Any ideas of things to try would be much appreciated. At this point the camera is fairly useless. Thanks in advance.
