Have you set up portforwarding on your dvr? Does your DVR require you to use a client software to view?

ALL I KNOW IS I HAVE AVEMEDIA DVR CARD AND AVERMEDIA NV3000 SOFTWARE

IN THE SET UP IN THE NETWORK AREA OF THE SOFTWARE I HAVE MY COMPUTERS STATIC IP AND IT SAYS WEB PORT 80

REMOTE CONSOLE PORT 5500

AND THEN DYNAMIC DNS

I HAVE BEEN TO MY ROUTER AND SET UP A SERVICE CALLED CCTV AND SET IT TO PORT 80 AND THEN ON THE FIREWALL RULES IN THE ROUTER ADDED THE SERVICE TO ALLOW ALWAYS AND IN THE SETTINGS PUT IN THE COMPUTERS FOR WHICH THE CAMERAS ARE RUNNING FROM THE IP NUMBER.
