Embedded web server just means I just run the unit at home hooked to my router with the rj45 plugged in and access it with my dyndns. Is this correct? I just have to open a browser on a remote computer and access the dvr box using my dyndns addy.My router has the option to update ip change to dyndns. shoreviewsecurity 0 Posted May 21, 2009 Hi, I believe we spoke on the phone today but in the interest of others on the forum, I will answer your questions... First, They are not the same DVR. Each do have an embedded web viewer whereas by using a computer with Internet Explorer and active X enabled and by typing in your dyndns address, you will be able to remotely connect.
