hi guys i just need some info on a dvr i have the dvr is a dipel st800 and the recording specs are cif 200 fps cif 336 x 272 and i want to add 8 540 tvl dome camera

for cif 336x272. no point spending $$$$on such high camera spec. 380 or 420 unless you are going to up-grade your dvr at a later date to say a D1 res.

Con you specify your requirement of the DVR and cameras:

 

Here comes with my suggestions:

 

1. DVR

H.264(Remote access needed) or MPEG4(only local storage )?

 

Resolution(D1, Half D1)

 

500GB HD / 1TB HD ?

 

3G mobile remote access?

 

 

2. Camera:

 

Viewing angle?

 

Visible distance?
