Need advice on pinhole camera - high res - audio - low light

Recommended Posts

Hi

I need some advice on picking/buying a pinhole camera. I am a total newbie to this unfortunately.

These are my requirements

- Needs to operate well in fairly low light environments

- Decent res (ie above 380 lines horizontal)

- Audio output

- Color

I have googled, looked @ a whole heap of cams but am rather lost.

I currently have a cheap cam connected to a usb video capture device bought off ebay, but wan't better quality. Also, I'm after regular wired rca connection.

tia for any help

How does one order any of the cameras listed on the site? I didn't see how to get pricing or add anything to any sort of cart.

And how good is the picture quality of these cams? Does anyone here have real world experience with them?

their color mini cubes arent low light, but you can order the BW mini cubes and that should work for most low light applications. Their lower res 420TVL BW cameras have better low light sensitivity then their 600TVL ones, also the exview (if you can find it) will see even more in low light.

For audio, you will need to go separate for that, unless you go with some cheap crappy camera which are the ones that normally have it built in.
