trying to get a hikvision ds-7204 online,came with no cd software,HELP!Just need to know how to put it online to view from other computers,thanx in advance,David

HIKVISION DVRs can be accessed by IE or IVMS4000 (Remote Monitoring Software).

The default port for IE access is 80 and for IVMS4000, it is 8000.

Depend on whether you can accessing the DVR locally or thru internet, there is different setting but mostly is on the network setting.

I think he may be referring to the link that I posted in this thread, which isnt even an advertisement. Its a link to another thread on this forum that Rory created to help people view their DVR remotely.
