soldering a dc connector to power cable

i need to solder some dc plugs onto siamese rg59 cable and im unsure where to solder the red and black cables too, when i pull the plastic off there looks like 2 points but i reckon i'd guess tbe wrong way round and damage my camera

i have the dcp ones, in hindsight i would of bought the dcppl ones as im new to cctv

Typically, the center pin is positive, and the barrel is ground. Double-check your cameras to confirm this - you should see one of these two symbols:

The DCPPL model is certainly more convenient; even the DCPPT unit would be easier, as you can just crimp the wires with beanie crimps or butt crimps.
