Geovison or Aver communicate via rs232 to C-Cure 800

Recommended Posts

I notice Geo has some I/O cards that look like they might be able to "talk" to a security access system. Has anyone tried this?

I'm looking to communicate to a C-Cure 800 system.

I really want an Aver NV8416 but I don't see any Aver IO cards. Only Geo.

Thanks

Good to know. I forgot to add there's a huge IStar cabinet in the "telco" closet. It's the controller for the door entries.

They'd need about 6 maybe 8 connections tops.

hi then i think its the box that you need. communication via rs232 or network.

E-I/O Box supporting 16 sensors in/ relays out is one accessory that provides a big advantage to users. The service provided by E-I/O box includes supporting 3 kinds of interface to connect to AVerDiGi NV/ SA DVR and expanding up to 128 sensors in/ relays out. This E-I/O Box is easy to use and allows us to identify sensor/ relay status via LED light.

but they do sell well so its finding a distributor that will have stock.
