Security camera at front gate

I am thinking about setting up a system at my house. I want to put a couple IP cameras around the house which I can handle no problem. My question is how to put one at the front gate and what camera to use up there? Here is a picture of the property:

The red circle (far right side if you're color blind) is where the gate is located. The yellow and white circles (middle and left, respectively) are houses. I want a camera at the red circle and I want it to stream to the white circle. Audio would be nice as well so if, say, a delivery man comes down we can talk to him.

 

I *can* get a power extension cord at the red circle for the security camera. The video/audio would have to be able to wirelessly stream to the main house.

 

I included the yellow house (middle) in case some sort of booster is needed, it can be installed there.

 

I am going to set up a home server and have the video stream to that so that I will be able to access the video feed remotely from anywhere with an internet connection.

What are you looking to spend as that will greatly determine what you get. And just as a reference I am partially colour blind and most of us do not have a problem telling the different between red, yellow and white.
