Why CCTV not working properly when back up with UPS

i'm using ups apc smart xli add with battery external

result 3 hour cctv operational time

 

the minus is, some cctv, especially varivocal, get some problem

 

the IR won't working

result: dark black and white picture instead colorfull picture

 

anyone now the problem?

each cctv using adaptor

later i will try to using some power supply

hope this powersupply could do good job

What is the capacity (current handling) of the UPS? Add up the current loads of all your camera's and DVR.

dvr + 9 camera

 

i don't think the cctv could overload the ups apc

Does UPS has buit-in AVR? If no you better hook up one.

Still not knowing what the current draw of both the DVR and the camera's at night, there is no way to know if the load is such that you could have that problem. Anywhere around 6A or more could definitely be a problem.

How do you know the IR is not working. The picture you are getting is EXACTLY what you could expect if using cheap IR cameras. Under IR conditions there is NO colour information - it is B/W.
