Swann POE camera pin out

Hi room,

 

I installed this systems last week and broke camera POE jack . Do you know the pin out from camera so i can re-crimping to new Cat5 jack ? posting.php?mode=post&f=19&sid=b2a50cc0d8e3fda93ea1dce8260c127d#

Typical POE is:

 

White/Orange

Orange/White

White/Green

Blue/White POE +

White/Blue POE +

White/Orange

Brown/White POE -

White/Brown POE -

 

This is the standard so I would be surpised Swann would do anything other. Can you post a photo?

If your Swann Camera has 8 wires.  Here is the wiring configuration to punch down to a Cat5 or 6 jack.

   Pin        T568B Scheme          Camera Wire

 

    1          Orange Stripe             Orange

    2          Orange                        Yellow

    3          Green Stripe               Green

    4          Blue                             Purple

    5          Blue Stripe                  Grey

    6           Green                          Blue

    7           Brown Stripe               Brown

    8           Brown                          White
