For cloud based IP cam just push video into provider host where hybrid has all data processing on your local computer but allow to access your camera from outside via browser or app. Is there any preferences among different groups of people ? I personally dont think small business would like cloud based due to price, but for housewife looking at cutie kitten it could be ok.
