Best NVR system out there

I am new to this form and need a lot of help to pick the right system for my home so i can protect my house and my family. I am looking at the Swann Night Owl right now and I know the NVR is the best way to go, cause that iOS where the future is going. I need at least 8 ch system any and all help would be great

What specific model swann are you looking at? is it an ip system or analog? model number?

What is your budget??

NVR has nothing to do with iOS so what you said makes no sense.

I don't know about the owl system, I want to stay under 1300 for a budget thank for the help

I would get at least 1080p, Depending on where you buy your cameras this can easily be done for 1300. Look at the dahua and hikvision 2mp and 3mp cameras. Most are about 100 per cameras direct from china and about 150 from US sellers.
