Infrared without the bulbs!

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to disable IR bulbs but keep the IR mode on for the hikvision firmware or the hikvision ds-2cd2132-i camera itself? I have a ton of IR glare which is really bad . When my spot light comes on the IR looks great but when its just the IR bulbs and no spot light there is so much glare you cant even see.

DO you know if buying extra IR illuminators and place outside the dome, if it helps to remove IR glare? For instance, like I was saying when the flood like comes on and I keep it on night mode, the IR glare completly disappears and looks great. I was wondering if this same effecft would happen if I IR flood lights or would there still be IR glare form the dome. Sorry if what I am saying is confusing, I can take some before and after pics when I get a chance to explain this .

I dont know if it would have the same effect. Have you tried other ways of eliminating the glare? Making sure the foam ring is pressed up against the glass? where is this camera mounted?

I'm with boogieman , why not put some effort into solving the problem rather than trying to get around it?
