cant network sannce DVR to iphone!!! driving me mad!!

Recommended Posts

having problems every time I attempt to network a sannce dvr to my iphone.

I have scanned the QR code on the vMEyeCloud app and it just will not not work. However it does work EXTREMELY Slow if I use the search in lan, But that is only while I am next to the dvr on the same wifi so pointless as I want to look at my house cameras while I'm at work etc.

please can anyone advise me on what the problem is lightly to be.???

CHEERS GUYS

ITS A VERY SIMPLE PROBLEM

when you use the QR code to setup remote it will only give you the external link and some networks will not let you ping back on your external while on your own network.

Instead of using the QR option manual input your IP

You will have to set two up

1st your local IP ... 192.168.x.x and call it home under device

2nd your external IP xxx.xx.x.x and call it ex home under devices

Use home .... When at home and use ex home when away from your network

Did your recorder show network found before you scanned the QR code ?

Thanks Tom

yes it does show network found. And works in search in lan

I will try to network manually as you suggested. Could you please give me detailed instructions on how to first locate and then set up by using IP address. I am a complete novice when it comes to networking.

Thanks Again

Very much appreciated
