HELP - Happy Holidays - needing home system $400-$500 recs?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at a Lorex, almost pulled the trigger but then realized 1020 analog. Am i better with 720 digital? Any good deals/systems out there now? https://www.lorextechnology.com/HD-DVR-Security-system/1080p-HD-surveillance-system-with-6-cameras/MPX86W.p Looking in the $400 range (give or take $100), just around the house, 6-8 cameras, lots of night activity with cars in driveways so want good night ID. Is this a good system?

Thanks!

Still needing help out there. Anyone seeing any great deals in this range? 4 cameras will do, prefer 8, but based on the last post sounds like 720 digital not analog is criteria number 1. Other desire is good night vision. If I must go up in price to get good quality I can, so recs above the price range are ok too.

Thanks!

Brad

I Checked your link. Its recording resolution is all Digital HD, not conventional analog resolution of CIF or D1

HD720P could be OK for your application

Stay away from lorex, look at Hikvision NVR and Huisun Camera's both are using Hikvision protocol and no problems with language mismatch issues with high quality images.
